The Physical Therapy Program in the Department of Human Movement Science at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, invites applications for one (1) tenure-track assistant professor position to begin August 15, 2022.
This is an exceptional growth opportunity to join a genuinely supportive faculty team with excellent resources that enjoy engaging in a meaningful balance of teaching, research, and service.
Through your teaching, bring disciplinary and experiential expertise to our broad range of physical therapy programs, including entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy; graduate and post-professional certificate programs in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, Oncology Rehabilitation, Teaching and Learning; and the Ph.D. in Human Movement Science program.
In your research, benefit from support and mentoring as you establish a line of peer-reviewed research and scholarship, drawing benefit from our well-equipped laboratories, our diverse clinical partnerships, and strengths in upstream care and community engagement.
Through your service, help to advance clinical professional relationships with our clinical partners for mutual research, clinical, and teaching goals. Provide distinct energies to our school, university, and communities of practice, including participation in student recruitment and retention activities. Contribute to our continuous academic program refinement and actively participate in professional organizations.

1. A minimum of three years' experience as a physical therapist 2. A CAPTE-recognized terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, DHS, or equivalent) or ABD if applicant holds a DPT degree 3. Eligibility for licensure, or licensure, in Michigan as a physical therapist.
