The University of Arizona is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as Dean for the Eller College of Management. The Eller College is regularly ranked in the top twenty of public colleges of business and several departments and units are ranked within the top ten nationally. The College’s vision is to become a leading public business school and do so by building on a proud history of identifying emerging areas of significant importance and developing them into points of excellence.

The Eller College was founded as a commerce program in 1913. It has been accredited by the AACSB since 1948. It is named for alumnus and entrepreneur Karl Eller. The dean is the chief academic and administrative officer of the Eller College, one of the largest colleges within the University. As a member of prestigious Association of American Universities, a Carnegie R1 institution and a land-grant university, the University of Arizona is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.

The University of Arizona seeks candidates who have established a distinguished record of academic excellence, and national prominence, in their own scholarly careers. The successful candidate should have had substantial, successful leadership experience demonstrated by quantifiable advancement of the organization they have led. The University seeks a dean who has strong interpersonal skills, who will form strong ties with the College’s alumni, donors, the Arizona Board of Regents, and local community and businesses. Furthermore, the University seeks an individual who has a track record of success in major fundraising campaigns.
