The School of Health Sciences at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, invites qualified persons with a passion for nutrition to apply for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Nutrition Communication, Education, and Behavior at the rank of Assistant Professor with a start date of August 15, 2022. Candidates must have a PhD in Nutrition or a closely related field; a registered dietitian/registered dietitian nutritionist credential is preferred with experience in general nutrition, nutrition behavior change, nutrition education, or nutrition communication. The successful candidate will have teaching capabilities in community nutrition, nutrition counseling and communication, and/or health behavior theories. The Nutrition Program within the Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences at Oakland University offers a B.S. in Nutrition. A dietetics specialization is a new track within the nutrition major and successful candidates will be expected to contribute to curriculum development and assessments and participate in other university and professional service. Successful candidates will also have demonstrated potential to establish and maintain an active research agenda.

A PhD in Nutrition, or closely related field, or ABD that will be completed by August 15, 2022. Registered dietitian(RD)/registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and experience with dietetics education preferred.
