The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG) and the Presidential Search and Screen Committee invite nominations and applications for the position of President of Kennesaw State University (KSU). The university seeks a student-centered, committed leader to further KSU's trajectory and build on its student, academic, research and operational success. In this highly visible role, the president will work with a broad set of stakeholders – faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members – to chart the future direction of the university.  The president will share the institution’s unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The ideal candidate will bring the ability to articulate a strong vision for one of the largest Research 2 universities in the nation; have significant experience building strong teams, work collaboratively with stakeholders; and a demonstrated commitment to fostering, recognizing, and rewarding student success, research, and scholarship. KSU’s next president will be a transparent leader, engaged listener, effective communicator and exceptional relationship builder who demonstrates integrity and strong commitment to shared governance, diversity, and inclusion. The successful individual will have experience in managing the financial and budgetary operations of a complex enterprise, a strong fundraising record and the creative thinking, problem solving, entrepreneurial skills, and the personal and professional reputation and integrity to unite the institution moving forward and ensure its future. An earned doctorate or terminal degree is required; experience in higher education administration, teaching and research experience are strongly preferred.
