Dordt University is currently seeking a full-time faculty member to teach courses in the Health and Human Performance department and serve as a throws coach with the track and field team.

Candidates will have the opportunity to teach courses aligned to the candidate's gifts and focus. This faculty member will advise students and serve on institutional committees while pursuing excellence in instructional responsibilities, intellectual contributions, and professional service. While a Master's degree is required, preference may be given to candidates with an earned doctoral degree.

The successful candidate will collaborate alongside visionary colleagues using best practices. In addition to teaching (67% FTE), this position will also include serving as a throws coach with the track and field team (33% FTE), and will serve as a full team member in department and university administrative tasks (such as curriculum development and review, assessment, development of new initiatives, student recruiting and advising, and committee assignments).
