The College offers graduate programs leading to degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Educational Technology, Educational Leadership, Nursing, Social Work and Special Education.

JOB SUMMARY:

At Ramapo College, your regular instructional schedule of six courses per academic year also may include assignments as College needs dictate, day classes, evening classes and Saturday classes. Faculty assignments also include academic advisement, committee work, unit meetings, education and professional development, supervision of students’ field work, and other related duties. Additionally, as a faculty member at Ramapo College, it is expected that you will support the mission of the College and actively participate in College-wide events, such as Commencement, Fall Convocation, State of the College Address, Open House/Immediate Decision Day. It is important to note that Ramapo faculty is generally expected to teach at a variety of course levels, support the General Education curriculum as assigned, participate in a rigorous student learning outcomes assessment process and can expect to be a presence on campus approximately four days per week.



DUTIES:

Provides didactic and clinical/laboratory instruction for all baccalaureate and graduate students.

Participates in curricular review, design and implementation of courses, evaluation of students, outcomes measurement, continual improvement, and full implementation of curriculum.

Participates in departmental and college wide committees and adopts an active role in service to the community.

Serves as course coordinator for assigned courses and works with partner faculty for coordination of courses.

Participates in scholarly activities in the areas of scholarly presentations, research, and publications.



REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Doctoral degree in nursing or related field is required.

EXPERIENCE

Professional teaching and/or clinical experience is required.

Active license as a professional nurse in NJ or eligibility for NJ license

Advanced practice nursing license or eligibility for NJ license.
