JOB DESCRIPTION

The Graduate Department of Clinical Psychology at the University of Indianapolis is seeking a tenure-track Associate Professor and Program Director beginning in August 2022 for 12-month appointment in our APA-accredited PsyD program.

The doctoral program is located in the UIndy Health Pavilion, an innovative interprofessional collaborative space that houses our high-quality programs in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, gerontology, kinesiology, psychology and social work. We seek forward-thinking educators with practice and/or research experience in interprofessional or interdisciplinary settings, and training with empirically-supported treatments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with the dean and provide primary oversight of the program
  • Monitor and oversee the graduate student advising process
  • Monitor the selection and retention data for students
  • Coordinate efforts for APA reaccreditation
  • Evaluate psychology curriculum needs
QUALIFICATIONS
  • PsyD/PhD from an APA-accredited institution is required
  • Evidence of effective post-secondary teaching, leadership, and service as well as a record of excellenct scholarly productivity is preferred
