Job Summary
Hires and supervises the AAC Tutors. Manages the student tutor requests and assigns
tutors to students. Coordinates the drop-in schedule of the AAC Tutors within the AAC.
Maintains clear and accurate records on both tutors and students. Creates development
opportunities for tutors, faculty, and staff across campus and conducts weekly training
sessions with AAC Tutors. Advertises tutoring services across campus through written,
online, and in-person content. Communicates with campus partners to provide a holistic
approach to student success. Assists in the daily operations of the AAC and provides
support to the AAC Director when necessary
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act, FERPA and other relevant laws and regulations
Supervisory skills, knowledge in the post-secondary education environment
Able to use a variety of computer programs and standard office equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in education or related area
