Elon University invites applications for a Human Resources Consultant for Employee Relations that will work with the Director of HR Compliance, Equal Opportunity, and Title IX to manage the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the university’s compliance obligations, serve as the main point of contact for employee relations for employees and supervisors, and assist with training and education for the campus community. The position will lead all necessary investigations as directed by the Director of HR Compliance, Equal Opportunity and Title IX and will serve as the lead for all employee-related matters that fall under the ADA and FMLA, and will administer the Online Performance Appraisal system. The successful applicant will have working knowledge of nondiscrimination laws and compliance regulations including Title IX, Title VII the Clery Act, VAWA, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA and FERPA, and the due process protections applicable to such processes.
