  • Maintaining exchange partner relationships, attending to balance of exchanges, reporting, and liaising with the Office of International Student Services for inbound exchanges
  • Supporting faculty-led travel courses and service trips
  • Supporting student efforts to secure international internships, including coordination of annual Freeman Foundation Grant processes for summer internships in East Asia
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and protocols
  • Coordinating and delivering pre-departure orientations, planning sessions, and re-entry events
  • Collaborating with Montreal and Dublin staff to make sure the Champlain Abroad campuses and students have necessary information
  • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data in order to improve programs and guide future planning
  • Developing extensive knowledge of Champlain's academic programs and the opportunities for study abroad to fit into any student's third-year experience
  • Helping students access well-being resources, both in pre-departure phases and while abroad, including counseling; accommodations; diversity, equity, and inclusion support; and others
  • Assisting with the training and supervision of student workers and Study Abroad Ambassadors
  • Overseeing the implementation of a marketing and communication plan for study abroad programs annually including website, print materials, social media outreach, and formal and informal in-person connections on the Burlington campus
