The School of Kinesiology and Sport Management Program at the University of Michigan invites applications and nominations for an open rank tenure-track faculty position, specializing in decision-making in sport/physical activity. Candidates will be expected to maintain a robust, ongoing research program, secure and sustain extramural funding for an active research program at the University of Michigan, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and conduct effective mentoring of trainees at the undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral levels.  Requirements include a doctoral (Ph.D) degree in a related field, demonstrated academic independence with published research, mentoring and teaching undergraduate and graduate students, and seeking research funding.  Additional requirements at the Associate and Full Professor ranks are a demonstrated record of securing research funding, and experience in providing leadership that will advance the scholarly excellence of the School.
