Instructor of Nursing
The Nursing Division of Columbia-Greene Community College is seeking a full-time Instructor of Nursing with a Master’s Degree in Nursing to begin January 1, 2021.
This is a 10-month, academic year, tenure-track position. Instructional duties will include teaching in clinical conference, a classroom type of post-conference.
Teaching at off campus clinical agencies is required; the majority of teaching will occur in the clinical area.
Requirements
- Active and unencumbered NYS RN License (valid as of the date of hire).
- Hospital-based clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing.
- Experience working in either the psychiatric clinical area or the obstetrical clinical area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong attention to detail; and computer skills.
Experience teaching clinical in an Associate Degree Nursing program is preferred.
The successful candidate will meet the criteria, and through an assigned teaching demonstration show lecture and lab proficiency.
Salary and Benefit Information
Contractual salary and rank will be commensurate with education and work experience.
