The Senior Instructional Designer, Organizational Development is
responsible for designing training materials for employee learning
and development content at the College. The Sr. Instructional
Designer is responsible for effective training courses and
programs, working collaboratively with key stakeholders and the
Organizational Development & People Analytics team, to design
content through various design methods.
This position designs learning solutions to include, full
curricula; instructor-led workshops; eLearning; virtual workshops;
job aids; videos; podcasts; and other solutions, as required. This
role is also responsible for content creation and design of online
training courses, the content creation and design of instructional
materials for training modules, participant materials, and building
multiple courses in a Learning Management System (LMS) and Curator
role in LinkedIn Learning platform.

Instructional Content Development
Sources training content through own research, stake holders,
subject matter experts (SME), and Human Resources personnel.
Facilitates process through conversations, focus groups,
compression planning sessions, and/or independent research. Designs
and develops on-demand eLearning training content to be hosted on
Determines and outlines learning objectives and outcomes in
partnership with departmental leadership. Works with key
stakeholders to design training material to achieve critical
objectives of the College. Designs training materials around all
learning styles while incorporating the cultural tone of the

learning aids, simulated scenarios, videos, or other identified
methods that will provide a blended delivery method and increase
the retention of learning. Makes suggestions and recommendations
for ongoing enhancements to training programs and materials for

around projects including new systems, policies, and/or procedures,
training documentation, and collaboration on implementation plan.
Supports Human Resources team with internal communication design.
Ensures communication meets brand standards of the College
consulting on content, editing, and distribution of monthly
reports, announcements, and urgent communications.
Designs pre- and post- assessments that will verify pre-identified
learning outcomes within the training content. Works with
identified assessment vendors or licensure bodies, as

Manages design scope process around interpreted or specific
requirements to create and/or modify training content
appropriately. Recommends and/or designs learning aids to accompany
the education and training content.
Collaborates with the Supervisor, Talent Development to design
training content based on identified delivery method. Designs
professional, management, and technical training, including virtual
training, based on needs identified by the College stakeholders.
Designs training materials, job aids, and other learning resources
to the retention of learning.
Assists in the design of LMS and Organizational Development &
People Analytics intranet page. These duties range from loading,
deleting, updating and curating materials, consultation with
departments regarding organization of both new and existing

Participates in scoping sessions with other divisions for the
purposes of identifying training needs per design request process.
Collaborates with stakeholders to scope content into determined
learning delivery methods. Models exceptional customer service,
teamwork, and professionalism in all interactions with the College
employees, training participants, associate project vendors and

purposes of content creation or integrating the content into
already existing training material, or other knowledge transfer

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field;
five (5) years of experience in Training Curricula and E-Learning
