The Dean provides leadership to the faculty and staff in all matters relating to curriculum and program development; accreditation, assessment and evaluation; recruitment and retention of faculty, staff and students; fundraising, research, and scholarship.

The Dean will join an institution with a strong sense of community and collegiality among the Deans, and a College with guiding principles of personal integrity, respect for humanity and human diversity, and professionalism. The Dean of CPPS will provide leadership in defining and articulating the College’s strategic priorities and will promote academic collaboration, shared teaching, and scholarly exchange through an increased commitment to interdisciplinary programs and opportunities across the institution and beyond. The Dean of CPPS plays a major leadership role in the broader university, stimulating and facilitating synergistic collaboration with Colleges as well as interdisciplinary institutes, centers, and programs. Preferably, the candidate will be a licensed pharmacist with an understanding of pharmacy practice.
