University of New Haven, Instructor of Business Analytics

 

The Economics and Business Analytics Department in the Pompea College of Business at the University of New Haven invites applications for a non-tenure-track position at the Instructor level beginning in January of 2022. This position includes teaching, service, and research expectations along with a responsibility to take an active role in cooperatively developing and growing applied business analytics opportunities across the programs in the Pompea College of Business.

 

We are seeking candidates with qualifications and teaching & research interests in applied business analytics fields such as Financial Analytics, Power BI, and Econometrics. Candidates must have completed a master’s in Finance, Decision Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.  Strong applicants should be versatile, with an ability to teach a variety of courses in the analytics field. Candidates with proficiency in R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and expertise in financial analytics, optimization, business modeling, data visualization, natural language processing, and data mining are especially encouraged to apply. Having taught courses in Power BI is a plus. 

 

The successful candidate for this position will be charged with working with faculty across the business disciplines to cooperatively develop curriculum, and co-curricular activities, to support a growing interest in applied business analytics.
