St. Charles Community College seeks a full-time Director, Professional Development   Training, providing leadership over the development and implementation of professional development activities for faculty and staff. Responsible for administration of new employee on-boarding and coordinating employee recognition events. Works with SCC's Cabinet on the organizations of key employee events throughout the year, including All-Faculty and All-Staff meetings. Coordinating schedule of external events.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Responsible for developing and maintaining high-performing innovative solutions for professional development.

Provides leadership, coaching, training, and organizational development to employees.

Delivers college-wide training programs and assess effectiveness of training.

Uses assessment and feedback to identify areas for improvement, propose changes to existing training programs and recommends new initiatives for implementation.

Responsible for coordinating new employee orientation and mentoring program.

Provides leadership needed to enhance current employee recognition programs, including the President's Award, MCCA awards, etc.

Serves as the point person for college-wide events such as All-Staff Day, Holiday Social, etc.

Develops and administers an employee onboarding process in collaboration with Human Resources and the Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Responsible for overseeing the scheduling of external events.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor's degree or higher in Organizational Development or closely related field.

Three years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
