Job Description:
The Continuing Education & Professional Development (CEPD)
Business Support Analyst provides support in the development,
evaluation, and maintenance of the Modern Campus (MC) Student
Information System (SIS). This position assists with the
communication with internal team and the implementation of system
upgrades, troubleshooting, fixes, security, training, and
translates and prioritizes business needs for the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Provides functional system support in the maintenance and
enhancement of MC and communicates the business vision of the
project, maps out requirements, and determines operational
objectives of business requirements
•Performs training sessions and creates and maintains user
manuals
•Develops solutions and troubleshoots user reported issues in all
areas of MC
•Maintains appropriate documentation of MC configuration changes
and updates module configuration workbooks
•Identifies in-scope use cases by reviewing and discussing business
processes, models them in MC, and determines data
requirements
•Works with stakeholders to validate requirements and serves as
support to testing and user support on expected system behavior
Minimum Requirements:
•Master’s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited
institution and two (2) years of related experience in information
systems, business administration or continuing education; or
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited
institution and six (6) years of related experience in information
systems, business administration or continuing education
•Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Continuing
Education
•Strong project management skills
•Ability to understand, analyze and interpret Federal and State
laws and financial reports and legal documents
•Ability to respond effectively to complex inquiries from State
Department of Education and other regulatory agencies, faculty,
staff and other stakeholders
•Ability to analyze system problems and develop solutions through
configuration of system
