About the Opportunity:
The Bouve College of Health Sciences and The Roux Institute at Northeastern University seek candidates for a 12-month clinical open- rank, non-tenure track position in the area of rural health care delivery and clinical health care programs. This person will be responsible for growing interprofessional health programs, including those in rural health, public health, the health professions, and health science innovation for undergraduate and graduate programs as well as workforce development professional programs. Bouve and the Roux Institute will collaborate with offerings at the Roux Institute and the region.This jointly appointed faculty between Bouve (academic home) and the Roux Institute will serve as the driver and liaison for the development and implementation of mobility programs and other experiential learning opportunities (curricular, extracurricular, co-op, research, etc.) at the Roux Institute and with partners across the region.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be appointed in the Bouve College of Health Sciences as the academic home (department/discipline to be determine based on the candidates' expertise) and will be jointly appointed at the Roux Institute as an Institute Faculty Member. The candidate will also engage in curriculum development and assessment, classroom and online instruction, clinical coordination and clinical placement outreach, serve on capstone and dissertation committees, and engage in service to the Department, College, Institute, and University. We seek individuals who can advance interprofessional collaborative education in rural health across health professions, engineering and science.

Teaching Responsibilities include the following: review and learning of key teaching points within existing instructor guides, and a willingness to support high-quality teaching and standards through: preparation of lectures based on course materials provided; effective facilitation of rich, respectful debates and discussions in an in-person or online class; timely review and grading of assignments with appropriate coaching and feedback to the students; consistent connection with students and their performance; clinical field work coordination, adherence to Northeastern's policies.

Qualifications:
A Ph.D., EdD or professional doctorate degree by the appointment start date. Candidates must articulate or demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate/graduate teaching excellence and a record of interdisciplinary scholarly achievement commensurate with rank. The successful applicant will have expertise with clinical education, rural health and working within an interprofessional healthcare team. Candidate is required to have an in-person presence at the Roux Institute and meet licensure requirements for the specific discipline as applicable in Massachusetts and Maine by the appointment start date.
