Job Summary:

Teach the following course in Spring 2022:

Position: Teach History 500, Religion and Politics in Modern America. This is a 3 credit course with an enrollment cap of 15.

This position is responsible for preparing all course materials, administering and grading exams and homework. This position is expected to create assignments, exams, homework and hold office hours to meet with students.

Education:

Ph.D required in History or related field with specialization in Modern U.S. History and/or History of Religion and Politics in Modern America

Qualifications:

Demonstrated record of or potential for superior scholarly accomplishments and previous college/university level teaching experience preferred.

Additional Information:

There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to teach one or more of the course(s) listed on the PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
