College of Liberal Arts and Sciences – Tenure Track Assistant Professor, Psychology (Cognitive Science)

 

Bradley University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2022. Additional full-time temporary teaching positions may also be available. The department seeks applicants with expertise in Cognitive Science, broadly construed. We encourage applicants with a research program that involves undergraduate researchers and has the potential to collaborate across disciplines.

 

Consistent with the University’s strategic emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion across our community, the ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering these values through their teaching and research. Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate Statistics and Psychological Research Methods is preferred. The successful candidate will have opportunities to teach other courses in their area of expertise, congruent with departmental offerings.

 

Applicants will have a Ph.D. in Psychology or related field by August, 15, 2022. Qualified candidates should submit:

  1. A cover letter addressing their qualifications for the position
  2. Curriculum vitae
  3. Evidence of teaching effectiveness
  4. Three to five relevant (p)reprints
  5. A statement of teaching philosophy
  6. A research statement describing the research you would conduct at Bradley.
  7. A diversity statement that includes your demonstrated commitment to, past evidence of, and future plans for creating equitable opportunities for underrepresented students.
  8. Three letters of recommendation sent electronically to Missi Woods at mwoods@bradley.edu
