and Counseling invites applications for several positions of Clinic
Faculty (Practicum Supervisor) for the Secondary MAT program to
begin immediately and continue until June 2022. Typically Clinical
Faculty (Supervisors) work with two or three MAT teacher
What You'll Do
Provide support for each teacher candidate’s practicum
Complete at least six practicum classroom observations at each
teacher candidate’s practicum site.
Provide a written report for each observation.
Conduct two triad meetings with each teacher candidate and
practicum site mentor (one in March and one in late May or early
Check in with the mentor teacher during or after each classroom
observation to determine how the teacher candidate is doing.
Complete a formative and summative evaluation of each teacher
candidate using the Teacher Candidate Assessment.
Write a letter of recommendation for each teacher
Participate in professional development meetings over the
academic year (currently scheduled for one in January and one in
Middle School and/or High School teaching experience in the
content area (ELA, Math, and Science).
Hold or be eligible for an Oregon Teaching License with an
endorsement in the content area.
5 or more years of relevant teaching experience
