The University Writing Program at Brandeis University invites applications for one full-time position in business and/or professional writing.
Full-time lecturers in the University Writing Program teach six courses per year, usually six sections of the first-year University Writing Seminar, a required course. The core of the UWS is devoted to the mechanics of writing with an emphasis on comparative genre analysis. The courses are topic-based: instructors choose the focus of their courses based on interests and expertise. Sections are capped at 18. Going forward, there may be opportunities to teach upper-level classes in the Writing Program as well as in other programs and departments across campus.
