Position description for PERFA 160-02 (Spring 2022)

Saint Mary's seeks a per-course adjunct faculty member to teach Stage Management in Spring 2022.

Tuesdays, 3:00-4:35pm

This course will be taught in person, on campus.

A course in the responsibilities and functions of a stage manager, from the first rehearsal through opening night and beyond. Students develop the skills to run a show in an efficient and positive manner.


Qualifications:
Required: An MFA in Stage Management or Production Management, OR commensurate professional experience (approx 6,000 hours of professional Stage Management experience, Equity or non-Equity). Familiarity with Actors' Equity rules and expectations. Familiarity with EDI initiatives in Theatre, including how they relate to Stage Management practices. Teaching experience is desirable but not required.
