Job Description Summary

Responsible for ensuring requested student schedule changes meet College policy requirements and are entered into Colleague in an accurate fashion. Supports unit’s primary function of processing admission and registration while providing timely, professional customer service to internal and external customers. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Two to three years related experience in keyboarding, data entry, typing experience, training or required experience, and/or specialized skills/training.
  3. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.



Criteria

CRITERIA : The following criteria, which are not the sole criteria used in the final hiring decision, will be used to review the applications of those persons who meet the stated minimum qualifications and to select those qualified applicants who will be interviewed.   1. Answers questions and assists in resolving problems as they relate to the Operations process.
  2. Codes, composes, and processes student registration forms.
  3. Processes and verifies student information.
  4. Makes changes as necessary to maintain student information files and keep records updated.
  5. Makes changes to sections and courses in the database according to staff requests (updates).
  6. Reviews and resolves student issues regarding class schedules.
  7. Performs related work as required.
  8. Compose and disseminate the update report.
  9. Assist with scanning and retrieving grade rosters.
  10. Post, change and verify grades in Colleague.
  11. Identify, flag, and report requests not complying with the 48-hour cancellation policy.



Job Requirements

  1. Must be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm or
    Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
  2. The work schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the department.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
  4. As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
  5. A background investigation will be conducted prior to the offer of employment. A signed authorization for the release of personal information will be required if selected for an interview.
