The School of Education & Human Development at the University of Colorado Denver is seeking nominations and applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor, Clinical Teaching Track position in the Couple and Family Therapy program, beginning June 1, 2022.

 

The Leadership for Educational Organizations (LEO) program/Doctor of Education Leadership for Educational Equity – Higher Education concentration in the CU Denver School of Education & Human Development (SEHD) is seeking a new full-time clinical track position for its program.

 

The School of Education & Human Development (SEHD) is a leading school of education, providing national expertise on educational issues and socially-just solutions for urban and diverse communities. The SEHD has taken a leadership role in preparing professionals to work in diverse schools, agencies, and related settings. The SEHD emphasizes working with multiple types of collaborative partnerships including PK-12 schools, local communities, businesses, government agencies, private foundations, and other universities and colleges. The SEHD was ranked 85th nationally in 2021-22 by US News and World Report.

 

Major Responsibilities

Overall programmatic responsibilities for Higher Education concentration to include, but not limited to:

  • Higher Education program teaching.
  • Serve as a co-lead for the Higher Education program concentration
  • Recruit, select, admit, and orient new student cohort groups annually with focus on increased expansion of students nationally and internationally.
  • Mentor and advise students and coordinate coaching program for post-doc students.
  • Develop and expand partnership network including active engagement of advisory committee with focus on local, national, and international higher education leaders.
  • Create professional development opportunities for emerging and experienced higher education leaders.
  • Provide Campus, School and Departmental leadership including engagement at faculty meetings, providing committee service, evaluating program course layout, scheduling, and hiring of faculty, and program assessment.

 

This a full-time (9-month) academic year position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in a clinical track. The position requires summer program direction duties and may include summer teaching responsibilities.

 

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and rank. The salary range for this position has been established at:

Assistant Professor, Clinical Teaching Track $70,000 to $75,000 Associate Professor, Clinical Teaching Track, $75,500 to $85,000
