The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at the University of Michigan-Dearborn invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position.  We are seeking qualified individuals in the area of Power and Energy, especially as it relates to smart grid, cyber-physical system, power electronics, and motor drive for electric vehicles.   

 

The expected starting date is September 1, 2022. Consideration is primarily at the Assistant Professor level, but outstanding candidates at the Associate Professor level will be considered.  Applicants should have research interests and expertise within the area of Power and Energy. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering or a closely related discipline by September 1, 2022.   Candidates will be expected to do scholarly and sponsored research, as well as teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
