Assistant/ Associate Professor of Mathematics

This position will report directly to the Dean of Art and Science

Job description/ duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Teach basic and advanced math courses for undergraduate students of diverse majors.
2. Participate in department/college meetings, take part in various committees, and advise students. 
3. Assist in departmental and programmatic planning and preparations.
4. Develop math program curriculum, jointly with head of department; and contribute to ongoing program review, assessment, and evaluation.
5. Develop program promotional materials and assist in recruitment activities.
6. Undertake research activities, collaborate with faculty, and establish research collaborations with external members of the academic community.
7. Be familiar with all the rules, regulations and policies that govern teaching, research, and interactions with members of the university community and always observe them.

Qualifications:  Candidate must have

1. PhD in mathematics from a reputable/ accredited North American university
2. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience post- graduation in a college/ university setting   
3. Familiarity with American system of higher education
