Pay Range: $47,000 annually or higher depending on experience

Position Summary:
The Development Coordinator is responsible for providing support for CNR's development efforts and events targeted toward external stakeholder relations. Duties include organizing, coordinating and implementing college wide special events targeted toward alumni, external stakeholders and other development initiatives. Position engages with students, staff, faculty and alumni, visitors, and internal/external stakeholders for the purpose of development initiatives. This position provides direct support to the Director of Development, particularly in areas related to donor stewardship, marketing and communications, and annual giving.

The Administrative, Development and Events Coordinator is responsible for; providing support to the college's administrative functions, including but not limited to, Office of the Dean, Marketing & Communications, Development and other college administrative functions; the planning, organizing, managing, coordinating and implementation of college­wide special events including alumni, development, faculty, staff, and student events. This position will serve as the main receptionist for the college, engaging students, staff, faculty, alumni, visitors, and internal/external stakeholders. The position provides support to the Director of Development for donor relations and stewardship. The position will coordinate with Marketing & Communications in the college to plan and communicate details of campus, community, state and regional events including reporting to college administrators.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree • 2 years of experience in development, public relations, or related field
• Experience working in an environment dependent on developing and maintaining relationships

Preferred Qualifications:
• Possess and demonstrate interpersonal relationship skills such that one can work independently and in a multi-layered team environment while fostering positive relationships, teamwork and cooperation so that the organization can be successful in meeting its goals
• Demonstrated excellent writing and communication skills
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
• Experience with volunteer boards and committees
• Higher education advancement experience
• Master’s Degree



Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
• Willingness to travel and work odd hours and weekends
