The Academic Computing Department at Pratt Institute is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy Digital Imaging Administrator who will oversee daily operations and long-term planning of the Digital Output Center (2DPC). The successful candidate will be responsible for overall management and coordination of Pratt Brooklyn campus digital output facilities, including configuration, color profiling, research, infrastructure setup and maintenance for the Digital Output Center (2DPC). The Digital Imaging Administrator will organize and supervise student workers including hiring, scheduling, and training in consideration of Pratt's efforts of heightening diversity & inclusion, assist students, faculty and staff with work orders ensuring optimal functionality of all equipment, and will participate in providing feedback for continuous process/service improvement initiatives.

If you can demonstrate the ability to successfully operate and oversee the use of printing equipment and print-server hardware and software, have the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technology problems, and have excellent customer service and time management, then we are looking for you!

On a typical day you will be required to:
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Digital Output Center (2DPC), ensuring equipment functionality, connectivity and security, and supervising work study students
  • Troubleshoot print-related issues
  • Provide expert print guidance and project coordination to students, faculty and staff, including researching and suggesting technologies to enhance required tasks
  • Produces marketing materials for all Pratt Brooklyn campus printing output facilities. Set, document and enforce usage policies and standards of the entire printing facilities
  • Collaborate with team members to address department needs.
