Position Summary:
The Transfer System Coordinator initiates, processes and monitors transfer course evaluations and student articulations. The position also evaluates courses to determine if they should be tagged as general education based on the general education category of the transfer institution. The position ensures that the university student information system is complete, current, and that the automated degree auditing system is accurate and updated. This position maintains aspects of the student management system to support admissions, registration, and the University's dual admission program. The Coordinator also supports the recruitment and retention of prospective and current students through participation in enrollment initiatives and standard customer service practices. This position may be eligible for a hybrid on-campus/telework schedule, with the primary work location being EKU's Richmond Campus. Eligibility for such an arrangement will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis following University policy and unit need.

Minimum Education:
Bachelors degree required.

Minimum Experience:
Two years of related experience is required..

Job Functions:
Evaluates, processes, and records transfer credits, which may involve additional research or investigation into unevaluated courses or existing equivalencies as needed.
Facilitates and promotes the transfer enrollment process by attending events and guiding students from application to registration readiness, identifying and addressing procedural barriers along the way.
Provides forward-facing administrative support and customer service for prospective, admitted, and current transfer students in addition to supporting EKU department representatives.
Supports office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned.
