Job Summary

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) at Drexel University invites applications for an adjunct appointment to teach courses in core chemical engineering sciences at the undergraduate level. Courses may include:
  • CHE 212 - Material and Energy Balances II
  • CHE 230 - Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics I
  • CHE 342 - Heat Transfer
  • CHE 320 - Computational Methods in Chemical Engineering II
  • CHE 343 - Mass Transfer
  • CHE 371 - Engineering Economics and Professional Practice
  • CHE 372 - Integrated Case Studies in Chemical Engineering
  • CHE 373 - The Brewing Process
Essential Functions
  • Giving lectures
  • Evaluating student performances
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Familiarity with ASPEN a plus
  • MS or PhD, 5+ years in the chemical process industries preferred
