Job Summary:

Provide engineering expertise in designing, modifying and constructing University facilities including buildings, mechanical/electrical/plumbing distribution and physical plant infrastructure. This position will be responsible for planning, interpreting, designing and/or construction University facilities subject to regulatory and professional standards, developing cost-benefit engineering analyses comparing construction alternatives, and/or other duties typical of professional engineer s in an institution of higher education.

Qualifications:

5 years working in the facility design/construction industry. The ideal breadth of experience will include a variety of building occupancies types, and familiarity with building systems including but not limited to electrical distribution, comfort and process cooling systems, fume hoods, process chilled water, domestic water, sanitary sewer, lighting systems, access control systems and fire alarm systems.
