Job Summary:

The individual hired in this role will be the lead on submission of grants for both the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and Department of Urology research enterprise.

Education:

Required
Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications:

At least 1-2 years of full time involvement in one of the following settings: clinical research, research administration or research management, or academic management. Clinical research could include enrolling patients, or reviewing and working with protocols. Research administration or research management could include submitting grant proposals and contracts, post-award monitoring and award closeout, negotiation of contracts, effort reporting. Academic management could include project management or program management.

The candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; demonstrate strong initiative, flexibility and personal accountability; ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously; an ability to understand and work within federal, state, and university policies; and a successful record of project management/administration.
