Assist with the collection of samples for approved COVID testing

Assist with the registration process and testing workflow at sites

Screen employees and students as required by UW Madison guidance.

Inventory supplies as directed

Performs administrative duties as assigned

Required
-Able to wear personal protective equipment and stand for long periods of time
-Able to work independently and as part of a team
-Able to follow verbal and written directions
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proficient in the use of a laptop, Chromebook or iPad
-Customer service experience
-Professionalism and accountability

License/Certification:

None required.

Additional Information:

Successful candidates must:
- Work through December 30th, ideally, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am to 5pm
- Reasonable requests of time off will be considered
- Part-time commitments may be considered if a candidate can commit to working at least two full days per week, with the same days scheduled each week
- There is a possibility work will extend beyond December 30th
- Preference will be given to candidates who can work full-time
- Wear personal protective equipment for long periods of time

This position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Work Schedule:

Testing hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a one hour lunch break. Most shifts will last 8 hours. There are both full and part-time positions available, but preference will be given to candidates who can work full time.

Appointment Type, Duration:

Terminal, 2 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding

Salary:

Minimum $15.00 HOURLY
Depending on Qualifications
