Dordt University is currently seeking an adjunct faculty member to design and teach Contemporary Policing (MPA 542) in the Master of Public Administration program. Course dates run from January 13 March 7. Our institution uses the Canvas learning management system, and resources are available to help with planning. This position would include compensation associated with course design work, which will begin immediately upon hiring.

The course is designed to help professionals understand the development, operation, and evaluation of initiatives in line with both contemporary best practices in policing and current research.

Qualified candidates are committed to a Reformed Christian perspective and have the ability to articulate that perspective well in the context of this field. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Dordt University endeavors to diversify its staff within the framework of its mission. The commitment of the university to nondiscrimination on the basis of age, color, disability, gender, national or ethnic origin, or race is consistent with federal and state requirements for nondiscrimination in employment.
