Dordt University is currently seeking an adjunct faculty member to
design and teach Advanced Criminal Procedure (MPA 543) in the
Master of Public Administration program. Course dates run from
March 16 - May 11. Our institution uses the Canvas learning
management system, and resources are available to help with
planning. This position would include compensation associated with
course design work, which will begin immediately upon hiring.
The course is designed for professionals with a basis of
undergraduate or professional experience with criminal procedure,
and the goal is to help students develop an understanding of the
cutting edge developments in this important dimension of law
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, mature
interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. A J.D. is
preferred for this position. A master's degree and substantial
experience in working with or teaching these subject matters from a
legal perspective is required.
