Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Cameron School of Business ( CSB ) is one of four primary academic units at the university. The mission of the CSB includes teaching, research, service, and professional. development for the business community. At the undergraduate level, degrees the Bachelor of Arts in Economics and the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration are offered. In Business Administration, concentrations are offered in Accountancy, Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Development, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, International Business, Management and Leadership, Marketing-Professional Sales, Marketing-Strategy, and Operations Management. A General Business option is also offered. Minors are offered in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Economics. At the graduate level the CSB offers a Professional Master of Business Administration, an International Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Accountancy, and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems. In addition, the CSB offers dual-degree programs with several international partner universities. The CSB has approximately 1,600 undergraduate majors and 200 graduate majors. The Dean’s office is the administrative unit of the CSB and carries out all administrative duties involving faculty and staff, program planning and schedules for courses, budget development and allocation, recruitment and selection of faculty and staff, supervision of instruction, personnel policies, staff development, accreditation, and the total administrative operation of the CSB for both internal and degree programs and external management development programs within the framework of the University. The CSB is organized into five academic departments and four other key areas: Department of Accountancy and Business Law; Department of Economics and Finance; Department of Management; Department of Marketing; Department of Information Systems and Operations Management; Swain Center for Business and Economic Services; Undergraduate Student Services Center; Graduate Programs Office; and Small Business and Technology Development Center. The Dean has administrative responsibility for the school including: 1) administration of fiscal resources; 2) physical facilities and human resources; 3) the development and implementation of curricula; 4) preparation of course schedules and budgets; 5) oversight of external accreditation; 6) the solicitation and oversight of external funds; and 7) serving as liaison between the CSB and other administrative units of the University and the business community. The department chairs, Swain Center, and SBTDC leadership report directly to the Dean. In addition the CSB has two Associate Deans and a Business Officer who report directly to the Dean. Directors of Work Practice and the Undergraduate Student Center report to the Associate Dean over Undergraduate Programs. Directors of the Swain Center, Graduate Programs Office, individual graduate programs, and the Coordinator of International Programs report to the Associate Dean over Graduate Programs.

Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Business Services Coordinator focuses on business processes for the Cameron School of Business, including budget management and oversight, position and employee changes, data gathering for report building, and benchmark reporting. This position gathers and reports student credit hours (SCH’s), FTE’s, faculty loads, tracks reappointment, tenure and promotions and post tenure reviews. The Coordinator prepares AACSB required benchmarking reports and prepares and/or update policies and procedures. This position coordinates business processes including coordination of Faculty Load and Compensation ( FLAC ) processes.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Four year degree in a related business function; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred education, professional skills and experience
- UNCW Finance Training Courses
- Knowledge of Banner
- Knowledge of university budget and accounting processes
- Knowledge of SSRS report extraction
- Experience with FLAC
