The School of Sciences & Allied Health at Milligan University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor and Director of a new Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration (MACAA) program in Exercise Science, with an anticipated start in August 2022.

 

Teaching duties will include undergraduate and graduate coursework in sports management and athletic administration and may include but not limited to Athletic Recruiting and Budgeting, Social Context of Sport/Athletics, Athletic Administration, Event Management, Athletic/Sports Promotion. Responsibilities include advising of graduate and undergraduate students, handling applications and admissions to the program, and overseeing internships.

 

Qualifications:  Successful candidates should have a doctorate in Athletic Administration, Sports Management, or related area; experience in athletic administration a plus.  The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching and have expertise in athletic administration, sports management, or related area.  A desire and ability to integrate faith and learning in a liberal arts environment is essential.  The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, commitment to the University Mission, and a lifestyle consistent with the University’s goals.
