The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University Chicago ( LUC ) invites applications for an appointment as Assistant Professor in Applied Statistics beginning Fall 2022. The successful candidate will be joining a department with more than 35 full-time faculty members, over 400 majors and minors across 7 undergraduate programs in mathematics, statistics, and data science, and 2 master’s programs. Qualifications
The candidate will have a Ph.D. in Statistics at the time of appointment. The candidate must clearly demonstrate the potential for excellence in research and teaching and have a record of (or clear potential for) distinguished scholarship, grant-funded research, and student mentorship. Additionally, the candidate will have demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education, including interest in inclusive teaching practices.
