The University of Central Florida, School of Performing Arts is seeking an

extraordinary pianist who is committed to providing an education that will transform the lives of our highly diverse and talented students. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining and expanding our keyboard program while maintaining an active presence in the community and professional organizations such as Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) to foster a culture of excellence in keyboard playing in Central Florida. Primary consideration will be given to candidates with a record of successful teaching at the university level and extensive experience as a collaborative pianist and chamber musician.

 

Responsibilities include: 

Teach undergraduate and graduate piano students.

Recruit and maintain an outstanding studio of piano majors at the undergraduate and graduate levels. 

Contribute to the artistic and intellectual life of UCF and the School of Performing Arts.

Give solo performances, as well as perform with faculty colleagues and guest musicians.

  Maintain an active performance profile on and off campus. 

Maintain a high level of professional visibility at the regional, national, and international level.
