Job Description:

BASIC FUNCTION:

Leads the utilization of the Admissions CRM (Technolutions Slate) in communications and marketing activities and assists with the utilization of the CRM in reporting and data analysis related to the recruitment functions of the Office of Admissions working to achieve enrollment goals for new undergraduate and graduate students. Serves as a member of the Office of Admissions team in the recruitment and enrollment of students.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CRM Specialist
  • Works as a member of the Admissions Communications Team to create and implement automated communications plans, develop and distribute electronic communications, and track effectiveness of communications for both undergraduate and graduate recruitment.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing communications (emails, text messages, etc.) including content creation and graphic design.
  • Works with the Director of Operations to: insure accurate integration of data into the CRM from outside sources; create reports for use by staff and senior level managers; maintain and update queries and rules; and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Solve complex technical and functional issues to increase operational functionality.
  • Build and manage admissions events/forms and surveys.
  • Identify data needs and create data visualizations.
  • Attend Slate conferences (when appropriate and with approval from supervisors) and keep abreast of ongoing changes/enhancements related to the CRM, sharing these changes with staff.
  • Assist in development and implementation of CRM related training for other staff.
  • Laisse with Office of University Relations in the development and implementation of templates and communications through the CRM.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of communications to prospective and recently enrolled students through the CRM on behalf of other campus offices (i.e. Financial Aid, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and Business Office)
  • Must be willing to work some Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Special admissions projects designed to enhance admission/retention efforts as assigned


Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; master's degree preferred.
  • Admissions experience a plus.
  • Must have demonstrated public relations skills with the ability to work effectively with faculty, students and a wide variety of administrative offices.
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
  • Must be a self-starter, problem solver, and creative thinker.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of an office team.
  • Travel with some evening, night and weekend work is required.
  • Must have the ability to handle stress in a busy office atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs and strong computer skills with extensive understanding of CRM's is required.
  • Experience with Slate CRM preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in logic and development of reports/queries in a CRM required; experience with multi-variable analysis preferred.
  • Knowledge of HTML and SQL coding preferred.
  • Knowledge of Adobe design suite and ability to manage/edit video for the web preferred.
  • Confidentiality is of the utmost importance.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
