Summary of Job Duties:The Administrative Specialist III performs general administrative support duties including data entry, receptionist duties and assists with resolution of problems. This position will assist in developing or revising policies, procedures, and directives based on research findings, and submit to supervisor for approval. This position is responsible for maintaining and updating various spreadsheets, sending out surveys, assisting with administrative forms, updating and maintaining the undergraduate handbook. Other duties include maintaining various computerized and paper files, records, logs and retrieving information upon request. The successful candidate will be responsible to create letters, memos, class work, journal manuscripts, quizzes and exams for various professors and will assist the supervisor by maintaining leave records, appointment calendar and prioritizing incoming correspondence.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field; plus three years of experience in specialized or a related field applicable to work performed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to develop, recommend, interpret and apply policies and procedures.

Salary Information:

$30,000.00
