About the Opportunity:
The Khoury College of Computer Sciences invites applications for the position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor/Associate Teaching Professor/Full Teaching Professor AY 2022-2023. This position reports to the Director of Computing Programs in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences for the San Francisco Bay Area with campuses in San Francisco and San Jose. Khoury College offers the Master of Science in both Computer Science and Data Science (in conjunction with the College of Engineering) with the Align bridge program available for both programs (

We are seeking highly motivated individuals committed to excellence in teaching. Full-time appointments at all ranks are renewable, career-focused non-tenure-track positions with responsibilities in teaching and service. Opportunities exist for course release to pursue research and scholarship. Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate courses at the MS-level. Classes are small (10-40 students in a section) and faculty are supported with TAs and graders. The successful candidate will create course content and materials, as well as collaborate closely with colleagues across all Northeastern University campuses.

Successful candidates will teach six core or elective courses per year in the MS programs offered in the Bay Area. Service to the college and university is an integral component of the position and may include serving on committees, supporting students on curriculum matters and with their preparation for a career in computing.

A PhD in computer science or a related field is required by the appointment start date
