Qualifications:
EDUC 124-01 - Mini Math and Science Methods
February 9, 2022 - April 6, 2022, Wednesday, 4:15pm - 6:00pm
This course covers the key concepts and pedagogy involved with teaching science and mathematics at the K-8 grade levels. Using the Next Generation Science standards and the California Common Core Mathematics standards, students will engage with the development of conceptual understanding of the 4 Disciplinary Core Ideas of Science (Earth, Life, Physical and Engineering Design) and key topics in Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry and Number Sense).
Qualifications:
Experience in K-8 classrooms teaching math/science
Previous experience teaching the course is preferred
