Carroll University seeks to hire an Adjunct Instructor of Physical Therapy for the Spring 2022 Semester.

Course: PTH 6517 Lab C| Orthopedics II

Time/Day(s): 7:50am-9:50am, W, Center for Graduate Studies

Qualifications: Graduate or Master's degree in discipline. Official transcripts due upon hire.

Course Description: Orthopedics II covers topic areas related to neuromusculoskeletal pathology of the upper and lower
extremities. Each regional unit will cover the pathoanatomy and pathokinesiology of common conditions
and evidence-based clinical decision making specific to the examination (history, systems review, tests and
measures), evaluation, diagnosis and prognosis, determination of interventions, and assessment of
therapeutic outcomes. Lab sessions will emphasize the psychomotor aspects of examination and treatment
using case-based approaches and skilled practice while incorporating appropriate clinical reasoning
strategies.

The College: The College of Health Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate programs through seven departments; Public Health, Athletic Training, Physician Assistant Studies, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, and Department of Movement Sciences. The mission of the College of Health Science is to educate students to be innovative professionals who collaborate to serve the health needs of their communities. The College of Health Sciences currently accounts for ~60% of University enrollment.
