OVERVIEW

The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (MIE) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for a tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Healthcare Engineering and Analytics.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate should have earned a Ph.D. in Healthcare Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related fields by August 31, 2022. The candidate must have a commitment to socially-engaged systems engineering; the interest and ability to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows; contribute significantly to the advancement of science and engineering and develop a nationally recognized program of sponsored research.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
