The Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, and Engineering Science and Applied
Mathematics at Northwestern University invite applications for the
newly established Jan and Marcia Achenbach Professorship (full
professor), with particular focus on candidates who are world
leaders in mechanics.
Candidates are expected to build a world-class research program,
and to demonstrate a commitment to teaching in the undergraduate
and graduate programs in the McCormick School of Engineering.
