Job Summary:

The individual hired in this role will be a member of the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Education Team. They will be responsible for the management of three fellowship programs (Sports Medicine, Non-Operative Pediatrics, and Adult Arthroplasty). Additionally, they will manage departmental CME processes. They will also provide administrative support to our Orthopedic Surgery Residency program and Program Manager.

Education:

Required
Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Graduate Medical Education is preferred.
- Experience in educational administration in an academic health care setting is preferred. Previous experience working within the University of Wisconsin system and/or Graduate Medical Education (GME) as well as familiarity with the accrediting bodies is preferred.
- Experience in education administration with the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide Continuing Medic Education (CME) activities certified for AMA Physician's recognition Award (PRA) Category 1 Credit preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, independent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and organization, and an outgoing and energetic service-oriented approach required.
- The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, strong independent time-management ability, flexibility with changing priorities and high attention to detail.
