Job Summary:

The Multimedia Specialist will develop and maintain audience-focused videos, external and internal sites, electronic newsletters, feature stories and other material designed to promote and implement public health marketing. The primary objective of this position is to create culturally-relevant, sensitive, on-message, engaging public health materials and compelling multimedia content. Strong interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to translate community and campus-based initiatives for general audiences are essential. Candidates must be self-motivated, well-organized and able to work collaboratively under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants will have the following preferred work experience:
2-3 years' experience preferred in video production, social media,communications, and producing content for promotional and informational purposes
familiarity with professional public health or student life writing is preferred

Additional Information:

Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, and an integral member of the dynamic Marketing and Health Communications Team of UHS, this position will develop multimedia content for communications and marketing that support the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of UHS

Skills/Experience Required:
Self-motivated, well-organized and able to work collaboratively under deadlines
Skills in video creation and production.
Experience with social media platforms, including content creation. Preferred platforms include
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat
Ability to across a variety of media, including websites, blogs, e-newsletters, and others, for a variety of audiences.Working knowledge of word processing, graphics, and desktop publishing software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and/or Adobe Creative Suite
