Job Summary:

This position will provide administrative support for the following UW Law School programs: Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic (L&E Clinic), Economic Justice Institute (EJI), and the Lawyering Skills course. These programs provide exciting and important experiential training for law students in the areas of Intellectual Property Law, Immigration Law, Family Law, Rental Housing Law, Consumer Law, and general legal practice skills. Time and effort of this position will be split evenly between the L&E Clinic (50%) and EJI/Lawyering Skills (50%).

Law & Entrepreneurship (L&E) Clinic:
Coordinate student activities:
-Coordinate student registration and management for various L&E Clinic options
-Collect and/or manage student information and registration information
-Coordinate and manage student feedback on staff
-Coordinate and manage office hours and other clinic services
-Assist with management of student placements, including Legal Tech placements
Manage the L&E Clinic inbox
Manage data reporting from L&E Clinic Systems (LECS & Clio):
-Coordinate discussion on metrics
-Track metrics
-Produce regular student hourly reports
-Conduct and review client satisfaction surveys
Organize and manage meetings and appointments, including:
-Select location and reserve rooms
-Ordering food, as appropriate
Produce memos, letters and forms
Assist with creation of presentations
Assist with social media efforts
Assist with website updates and management
Participate in team discussions and projects
Continuously improve administrative procedures
Provide information by answering questions and requests
Organize travel

Economic Justice Institute (EJI):
-Update EJI Alumni List
-Assist with collecting information from EJI clinical directors for social media updates, help put together the annual newsletter to EJI alumni and donors
-Community brochures and community resource library upkeep
-Plan community events and EJI alumni networking events
-Case file management assistance
-Compile and report EJI case statistics
-Assist with monitoring the main EJI inbox

Lawyering Skills:
-Maintain calendars
-Arrange travel for visiting lawyers
-Update the Lawyering Skills alumni & visiting lawyers lists
-Maintain Lawyering Skills LinkedIn page

Education:

Preferred
H.S. Diploma

Qualifications:

Previous administrative experience required.
Experience with Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
Experience with maintaining website material, creating social media posts for an organization preferred but not required.
Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams preferred.
Successful candidate will be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and have excellent customer service skills.

Successful candidate will be hired into the level commensurate with their experience.
